96-well magnetic bead separation
The CarbonLink M96-X is a 96-well ring-magnet plate separator for magnetic bead separation in compatible PCR and deep-well plates. It supports plate-based sample processing where beads need to be collected before supernatant removal or washing.
Select magnetic beads and reagents for the target workflow, then check the plate fit and bead collection pattern using the actual labware.
Plate selection and liquid handling
The existing product specification lists 96-well PCR and deep-well plates. Compatibility should be checked for the exact plate model, bottom geometry, skirt and sample volume.
When incorporating the separator into a liquid handling workflow, check deck space, plate positioning and aspiration height relative to the collected beads. Plate format alone does not establish compatibility with every robot or protocol.
